一、常用面積單位換算：
1坪 = 3.3058平方公尺 = 35.63平方英尺
1坪 = 約為每邊邊長1.81公尺的正方形面積。從前的榻榻米寬約90公分，長約180公分，所以你常會聽到一坪相當是兩個榻榻米的大小。
1平方公尺 = 0.3025坪
1平方公里 = 100公頃
1公頃 = 3,025坪 = 1.031甲
1甲 = 2,934坪 = 10分
1英畝 = 1,224坪
1分 = 293.4坪
1公畝 = 30.25坪
二、簡易坪數估算法：
若是你去看屋，忘了帶測量捲尺，又想估算該建物的面積時，我們可以利用室內鋪設的地磚，或是其他有固定長度的物品，來進行初步的估算：
以地磚來舉例：
第一步：先量出地磚的尺寸，例如是常見的60cm × 60cm 樣式。
第二步：接下來計算該空間內的所有地磚數目，例如共有60塊地磚。
第三步：加總60塊地磚的面積，並乘以0.3025，以求得坪數的面積。
例如0.6 m x 0.6m × 60塊 × 0.3025 ＝ 約為6.53坪。
